Guiding spirit and Mandate of CNRI

• The Inaugural Address delivered by His Excellency Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, President of India on 25 th April 2005 on the occasion of the National Summit of NGOs of Rural India at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi will always be the Guiding Spirit for the grass-root level NGOs in their endeavour towards helping the poor particularly in the most backward regions of the Country.
• The New Delhi Declaration containing 27-points adopted on 27 th April 2005 at the conclusion of the Summit constitute the broad mandate for CNRI to pursue its activities in different directions in the service of the poor people of India .
